**AP Officer - NFP - CBD**
**Company Background**
Our client is an Australian grown and focused Not-for-Profit that focus on supporting a range of projects centred around bettering the lives and well-being of individuals across the country.
Due to a team restructuring, they are seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team initially on a contract basis with a view to permanent employment.
**The Role**
As the AP Officer, you will initially focus on:
- Processing and recording invoices and payments (mid-volume)
- Preparing payment runs for approval
- Managing vendor relationships
- Managing company credit cards and expenses
- Reconciling cash transactions
After settling into the role you will have the chance to be involved in:
- Assisting with posting prepayment and accruals
- Month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed assets
- Supporting the team through the year-end audit process
**Your Background**
To be considered for this AP Officer role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- **Immediate availability**:
- Preferably degree qualified in a relevant field
- 6-12+ months of experience with Accounts Payable
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
- A “self-starter” with an inquisitive nature
- Experience with Concur is highly regarded but not essential
