We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic and dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager. **About the Role**

This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Full function Accounts Payable
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices and statements.
- Work with Financial Accountant to provide upcoming payments for weekly cash flow.
- Match Stock supplier invoices against Goods Receipts and flag variances to relevant team member.
- Prepare and process foreign exchange payments
- Manage AP Inbox, obtain approvals for invoice from relevant managers and respond to queries.
- Input and code invoices to cost centre.
- Backup for paying employees by verifying expense claim forms, ensuring appropriate approval is received and coding them correctly.
- Paying vendors by scheduling payment runs and responding to all vendor enquiries
- Prepare analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
- Maintain and update vendor database in the ERP System.
- Assist with master key supplier list including approval as a supplier and terms and approved payment account details.
- Bank Reconciliations for AP.
- Continuous improvements to the accounts payable process.
- Other tasks/inputs required by Finance Manager
- Maintain company confidentiality at all times.

**About you**

To be suitable for this position, you would ideally have:

- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- AP experience in a matrixed organisation will be advantageous
- Excellent computer skills, in particular excel and an understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable processes and principles.
- Have excellent time management skills
- Experience in Concur AP and Expense management, desirable.
- Attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Review and analysis - not just accepting what is presented but challenging the status quo
- Ability to improve current processes

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
