Opportunity has arisen for a **Head of Business Administration Sales & Tendering **to join the Siemens Mobility in Docklands, VIC. Reporting to the CFO of the subsidiary in Australia, the main mission of this role is related to managing, controlling and reporting and commercial tasks in Sales and Tendering areas to directly support effective and profitable Business and supports accountable management in assigned area of responsibility.

In this full-time position, you’ll manage controlling & reporting and commercial tasks in Sales and Tendering areas to directly support effective and profitable Business supports accountable management in assigned area of responsibility.
You will:
- Guide ongoing comparison of objectives and their achievement, drives consistent steering actions to achieve the targets set by the business in terms of new orders, sales, profits and cash.
- Manage and contribute to ongoing optimization processes to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity, and to meet safety requirements.
- Analyse deviations in detail including preparation of presentations and decision memos for management of the business or local, regional and headquarter entity level.
- Organise and coordinate all financial and commercial activities within the scope of the applicable business processes for sales and bidding.
- Guide complete and timely elaboration of all necessary financial/commercial documents for the sales and bidding process, e.g. contract analysis, evaluation of risks, project selection, bid/no-bid decision, within established Limits of Authority (LoA).
- Review and approve bids (LoA) within responsibility of the business or local entity.
- Performs ongoing optimization of organization, procedures, and processes to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity and to increase customer satisfaction.
- Guide technical partners in commercial and financial matters.
- Create and align with involved stakeholders bid strategy from commercial/financial perspective
- Lead commercially all bid activities of entire Mobility portfolio and within complete SMO sales region of Australia and New Zealand
- Conduct contract negotiation with customers, partners, subcontractors and/or lenders from commercial/financial perspective, until contract is concluded
- Support involved BA organization with sales and market information for forecast and budget process (if required), or other Sales related target discussions with different stakeholders
- Ensure contract Management / Contract Structuring for internal and external business (Contract Analysis, clarifications, deviations, tax analysis (PATAC), contractual risk evaluation, insurance concepts)
- Ensure Bond and Guarantee Management during the Bid phase
- Take responsibility for the commercial correctness, creditworthiness check of external customers, and hand-over-process of project calculations to PM.
- Complete foreign currency as well as commodity hedging calculation and optimizes currency as well as commodity risk exposure with aligned mitigation measures in the offer stage.
- Lead the organization assigned and manages all employees, coaching assigned commercial bid team, distributed over Australia and New Zealand.

- You have tertiary education in business administration, finance, accounting, contract management, or related disciplines.
- You have strong experience in commercial project management, including sales and tendering commercial project management.
