**The Role**
The role of the Head of Sales is to coach, mentor and develop the sales team to maximize our results. This fast-paced role managing the sales and lead generation team (approximately 10 people) with a 2IC for support and also managing client relationships through your own sales pipeline. This is a new opportunity to work closely with our head of Performance who currently looks after this area as head of performance and sales.
You will have monthly targets and incentives in place with uncapped commissions.
Your role spans from overseeing the lead generation team, operating the lead nurturing process, pitching, closing and ends with handing over the clients to our marketing team once signed. We only work with warm leads and we are selective with the business we bring on, quality over quantity.
We are an innovative, social and driven team who want to achieve the best results possible. We are looking for someone with experience in Marketing and Sales, strong knowledge across social platforms and successful management experience.
**What will your day-to-day look like?**
People: You must love speaking with people: you are friendly, courteous and passionate. You are a clear and open communicator, we practice consultative selling.
Strategy: You will be building custom strategies for brands which involves researching brands, industries, competitors and fully comprehending our services and how they could best suit. This part of the role is the most important. We don't sell a service that we don't genuinely believe will help a brand.
Problem solving: You identify pain points quickly and come up with innovative solutions. This will be problems the client is facing in their business as well as problems that arise in your day to day. The ability to solve these quickly is essential in this role.
Management: You will be stepping in to manage 4 senior staff and 3 junior staff members. You will be responsible for the team hitting their KPI's, as well as your own.
We have monthly targets which will change based on the time of year.
Admin: Use Hubspot (our CRM) and other tools to manage your deal through the phases, documenting key touch points. Everything must be organised and kept up to date for complete visibility.
Lead Generation: Although you are not directly responsible for this, you will be across what we are doing in our lead generation. This will directly impact what we are selling. You will be across the data of where leads are coming from and will be responsible to keep the lead generation team in the know.
Services: You will keep yourself informed around our services and innovations that are happening so that you are constantly well informed for the team. Things change quickly so you must always be up to date.
Of course, Sales: You will be a sales expert, having been a top performer in previous roles. We require a proven track record in order to lead the sales team in the top digital marketing agency.
- 5 years+ of experience in sales and marketing
- 2 years+ experience in sales team management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of internal and external parties
- Ability to create, communicate and present successful marketing strategies
- Base Salary + uncapped commission package
