**How will I help?**

You will be required to support the Project Director with creating, editing, and tracking the portfolio schedules and resource demand and allocation across the portfolio. In this role, you will be collaborating with Project Directors and Managers, setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines. You will also prepare project progress and performance evaluation reports.

You will also be responsible:

- Consulting and collaborating with Project Managers and technical experts / team members to set up assignments, activities, and tasks.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
- Preparing a project critical path to allow management to understand when a project is either ahead or behind schedule.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
- Using the project schedule to identify resource demand, including over and under allocation of team members.
- Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
- Work with Project manager to recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.

**What do I need?**
- You will be a self-starter, able to work self sufficiently
- Exposure or experience in schedule planning and management. Note, if required training will be provided
- A minimum of two years' experience as a project scheduler in a related industry
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Microsoft Projects and / or Jira
- Ability to play a mentoring relationship for the wider team
- Capability to facilitate and foster stakeholder relationships
- Power to exercise governance and best practise
- You will carry a wealth of problem-solving skills and decisive thinking
- A strong background in financial or business analytics
- A strong technical skillset in analytics and sound commercial judgement
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Desire to be constantly challenged and develop new knowledge
- Previous education in a financial-related degree

Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) is desirable.

Financial services background is essential.
