**About the team**

You will be working as a part of large team where no two days will be the same This role is responsible for the establishment and ongoing maintenance of Program and Project Schedules for the external works Programs and Projects.

**The opportunity**

We are currently having two Permanent full time opening for a Scheduler role within the Sydney Trains Strategy, Portfolio Investment, Portfolio Management/ Business Readiness Interface. The Scheduler is responsible for the establishment and ongoing maintenance of schedules developed within approved Sydney Trains scheduling tools to a high level of maturity and in line the approved Sydney Trains scheduling standards and management of projects and programs.

The primary location is based in Burwood, with a flexible work arrangement

**Key accountabilities**
- Actively support Program and Project Managers to be responsible for the establishment and ongoing maintenance of schedules developed within approved Sydney Trains scheduling tools to a high level of maturity and in line the approved Sydney Trains scheduling standards
- Work with Program/Project Managers to review impacts, test scenarios and develop solutions for scheduling demands
- Integrate the internal and external Sydney Trains schedules into an Integrated Delivery Schedule to identify the critical path, establish the program baseline, and monitor actual progress and resource requirements against the agreed baseline. Integrate the delivery schedule into the Integrated Master Schedule
- Participate in risk control activities, complete risk schedule analysis to ensure forecast aligns to risk adjusted outcomes
- Execute safety responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities consistent with Sydney Trains safety management system requirements which are defined in SMS document number SMS-02-RG-3058

**About You**

We are looking for someone who can take accountability by being proactive with constant changes to the large project. You will need to be an expert in project scheduling and scheduling tools like Primavera (Essential) and Project Online will be added advantage. You will be working in highly collaborative and influential team, with a wide range of stakeholders. If you’re from finance accounting or engineering background it will add benefit

**Salary and benefits**

The salary for this position is **RC Grade 6 ($127,559 - $141,442)** per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
