**Position Summary**:
The Test Lead plays a crucial role in managing testing activities while also actively participating in test execution in a project. They are responsible for ensuring project deliverables are clearly defined, tasks are appropriately allocated to the testing team, and deadlines are met. Additionally, they oversee team development, communicate project progress to stakeholders, and ensure testing standards are upheld.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular defect reviews and triages.
- Develop and mentor the team to ensure proficiency in relevant devices or systems and adherence to testing requirements.
- Schedule and manage staffing and resource needs for testing, including hardware, software, personnel, and tools.
- Engage with customers in meetings and coordinate relevant testing activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of project test outputs meeting high standards of quality.
- Demonstrate leadership in customer interactions to ensure project success.
- Coordinate and supervise all testing activities, including result collation and defect reporting.
- Develop and distribute test plans and reports.
- Lead efforts in efficient test automation and use metrics to evaluate testing outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to established testing and documentation standards.
- Oversee the management of the project's test environment and configurations.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding progress, issues, and complexities.
- Independently coordinate with overseas teams and customers on testing project deliverables.
- Arrange and prepare demonstration areas for customer visits.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of project details such as Deliverables, Milestones, Requirements, etc.
- Oversee preparation of detailed test reports.
- Update project plans with relevant progress and results.
- Lead and manage a team of Test Analysts.
- Actively engage in process improvement initiatives extending beyond the immediate project scope.
- Perform hands-on test execution as needed.

**Essential Role Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in the field.
- Proven track record of creating test plans and test cases based on requirements.
- Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps, including report compilation.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable with problem-solving skills.
- Strong multitasking, coordination, and pressure management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining defects internally and externally.
- Ability to work fully on-site from the office, especially during test execution, as testing requires the use of various devices and there are restrictions on the movement of these devices.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours for collaboration with global teams.
- Ability to travel overseas.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in Transportation or related industry testing.
- Understanding of payment card technology.
- Prior experience in V-Model projects.
- Past involvement in system test & integration and hardware development projects.
- Test automation experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, FitNesse, JMeter, UL Brand Test Tool, etc.
