Our client are a leading global engineering firm headquartered in Melbourne, Australia with offices globally.

Embarking on several I.T. transformation programs they are looking for strong testers to lead testing work across these programs.

You will work with senior business stakeholders and help set the direction of their I.T. modernisation and working practices.

**Responsibilities**

Role has two core purposes:

- to **deliver quality assurance / testing services in support of** client's testing services team, and;
- to provide hands-on testing services on assigned projects

Core responsibilities include:
**Quality Assurance**:

- overseeing all testing activities across projects and continuous delivery activities within IT, as well as setting testing direction, tools and standards.
- ** Support Process improvements and new ways of working - **e.g. environment management, testing automation, establishing testing standards, prioritising and influencing testing requests, standardising testing processes.
- ** Team engagement and management (interim)**:

- support the Testing leading a team of Test Analysts. Setting team direction, providing feedback, managing performance, skill development and supporting recruitment.
- ** Test/QA Lead on projects**:

- this role will also need to be hands-on and likely need to juggle multiple projects concurrently.

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience setting up and leading a test practice or portfolio including - Functional, Non-functional, Regression, UAT and Performance
- Experience working with global teams and establishing capability
- Experience in test automation
- Experience testing On Premises, Cloud, SAAS, PAAS & IAAS
- Exposure to performance testing
