Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Test Analysts in the planning, execution, and reporting of software and hardware testing activities. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that system capabilities align with defined requirements and that defects are identified, tracked, and resolved efficiently.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead test planning, execution, and review sessions with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases, test data, and documentation in alignment with project goals and testing standards.
- Manage a team of 4-8 Test Analysts, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Monitor testing progress, report on outcomes, and escalate risks or issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test reports, dashboards, and traceability matrices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including test automation and process optimization.

**Essential requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience in software testing, including test planning and execution.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, including witnessed testing.
- Ability to work on-site during test execution phases due to device handling requirements.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours for collaboration with global teams.

**Desirable (optional)**:

- Experience in the transportation or related industries.
- Familiarity with payment card technologies.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, FitNesse, JMeter, or UL Brand Test Tool.
- Experience facilitating customer-witnessed testing with professionalism and attention to detail.
