Dredging Supervisor Needed

The Dredge Supervisor will ensure the safe, productive, and efficient operation of dredges at all times and work as part of a team to deliver on project schedules and other deliverables. The role reports directly into the Dredging Manager and will work with site stakeholders and customers as required.

The key accountabilities for this role include:

- Supervise cutter suction dredge, work boat/punt & mobile plant operations
- Supervise anchor relocations, pipeline assembly/dis‐assembly and securing
- Ensure monitoring, tracking/recording of dredging production, and relevant HSEQ items
- Delegate work to employees, track progress and provide constructive feedback throughout projects
- Guide, support, and develop staff to ensure both employee and organisational success.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing company/site standards, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure project administration and reporting deadlines are met
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and open channels of communication with all project stakeholders.
- Makes decisions to ensure the efficient operation of the project
- Escalates issues and proposes solutions to senior management. And,
- Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by yourself and employees under your direct management.

Other specifics about the role:

- $140k + super
- 4.5 year project
- FIFO work available if not a NSW local.
- Permanent role
- 5 weeks annual leave
