The Assistant to the Commercial Directors reports to the Commercial Director - Australia & New Zealand and is responsible for providing project and administrative support to the Commercial Directors within Australia. This will include hands-on support to enhance the productivity of the Commercial Directors, coordinating meetings/events/forums and coordinating various reporting mechanisms including Commercial reporting, as well as exposure to more project opportunities as they emerge.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- Provide project and administrative support to the Commercial Directors within Australia, as required (diary management, meeting coordination, booking domestic and international travel, expense management, and any other ad hoc tasks as and when needed)- Arranging logístical aspects of Commercial Director led or relevant Commercial meetings (diary coordination, agenda and material creation and coordination, minute taking, facility bookings, travel and catering)- Support the coordination, compilation, review and editing of Leadership Team papers, including external correspondence and materials- Work with the Commercial Directors to ensure smooth coordination with the Chief Commercial Officer including preparation, meetings, papers and reviews required by CCO- Over time, and with guidance from the Commercial Director - Australia & New Zealand, support projects and initiatives that are led by or relevant to the Commercial team.
What you will bring:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with experience supporting executives within a corporate environment- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management within Iress and with senior external stakeholders- Highly organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy, superior judgement and decision-making- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues- Must possess a high degree of discretion, a high level of professionalism, and a strong sense of urgency- Ability to prioritise and balance several tasks and work with deadlines with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time while maintaining a positive attitude is essential- A positive and collaborative mind-set- Must be a team player and initiative to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion- Strong computer skills as well as high proficiency in GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides and Mail) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
