We are urgently hiring experienced experienced support workers in the **Sutherland Shire Area**

Applicants must be authorized to work in Australia, must have Valid Driving License (Australian or International) and reliable car.
- **Job Details**:
To provide care and support to people with mental health and physical disabilities.
- **Main Tasks**

Core objectives include:

- Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs

who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours.
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
- Work under general guidance from the person seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines
- Providing personal care to people with disabilities

- Certificate in individual care/ disability/ community services
- Current First Aid certification
- Working with children check
- NDIS check
- **Experience**
- Providing personal care to people with disabilities.
- Supporting people with complex mental health
- Feeding through Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
- **Knowledge**

**Weekly hours: 20-35**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
