**About the Role**
We are currently seeking energetic, physically capable, and boundary-conscious Disability Support Workers based in the Sutherland Shire or surrounding areas to support teenagers and young adults on Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends.

This role focuses on delivering fun, active, and purposeful support through a variety of community-based activities that promote social connection, independence, and life skills development. You'll also assist with independent learning and basic educational tasks, so a general understanding of maths and English is important.

Support work may involve outdoor adventures, sports, walking, swimming, structured learning, and recreational outings. We’re looking for team members who can keep up physically, connect meaningfully with clients, and uphold professional boundaries while remaining approachable, empathetic, and reliable.

**Key Requirements**
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism is essential
- Experience with ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) is highly favourable
- Ability to stay calm and grounded in challenging situations
- High energy and enthusiasm to actively engage with clients
- Physically strong and able to participate in movement-based activities
- Organised, reliable, and confident working independently

**Essential Criteria**
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence + access to a reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening (within 6 months)
- Comprehensive Car Insurance

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

- Support Work: 2 years (preferred)
