**Disability Support Worker**

Maxlife Care is a provider of premium disability and aged care services led by a team of dedicated doctors and has an experienced team of support workers. Maxlife Care partners with its clients to provide quality care and personalised services designed to meet their needs.

We are growing and currently looking for people who are able to work shorter shifts during the daytime on weekdays and some weekends - often during school hours.

Locations available include:

- North Shore (Roseville, Davidson areas 6am-9.30am)
- Botany/Matraville area (11am-2pm various days)
- Sutherland Shire (12.00pm - 3pm)
- Glebe/Inner West (10am-2pm)
- Liverpool area (3 hours Saturdays)

Ideally, you will be someone who can work independently with clients in their homes/community and/or SIL Homes. Duties vary from person to person, but may include personal care, light cleaning and meal preparation, shopping, driving people to appointments, going to cafes and other outings, and assisting people to develop life skills. Induction training is provided.
- 1+ years of experience in the disability sector
- Good Communication Skills
- Experience in Mental Health
- Minimum Certificate III (Individual Support) or similar/higher
- Understanding of issues facing people with a disability, their families & carers
- Strong belief in the principles of Person-Centred Approaches
- Ability to support people to achieve their goals
- NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full COVID Vaccination (with booster) is mandatory.

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Disability: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Check (preferred)
- WWC (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
