Learning and Development Advisor

**Background**

We are searching for a highly driven individual who thrives working independently in a fast-paced environment as we look to continue our transformation operating as a standalone company and build advantaged capabilities in our people.

This newly created role, reporting to the Talent Development Manager, will provide broad exposure to stakeholders at all levels across the company, autonomy across key learning and development initiatives and the opportunity to evolve the role aligned with business needs.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Establishment and ongoing management of key learning initiatives aligned to our GROW initiatives from mentoring, on-demand learning and leadership programs.
- Becoming a trusted advisor and learning expert to collaborate with the People & Culture business partners on learning needs as per agreed priorities and budgeted spend.
- Ongoing administration and management of our learning platforms - including our digital learning library and Learning Management System
- Deliver professional skills training in a variety of channels (face-to-face/online) which are impactful, engaging, fun and practical
- Partner with the People & Culture Business Partners and the wider business to surface learning needs and provide learning recommendations
- Source and collaborate with external learning partners to deliver learning solutions to learning outcomes and within required budgets
- Implementation, communication and ongoing embedding of our key GROW initiatives ranging from our development planning framework, digital learning library, mentoring, learning champions and development campaigns

**The ingredients to be successful**:

- Experience in designing and delivery of corporate learning and leadership programs - understanding of L&D methodologies and delivery channels
- Proactive self-starter - holds themselves accountable without supervision and is able to independently plan, prioritise, sequence activities and move to action
- Proven collaborator - builds partnerships across a wide group of internal and external stakeholders and able to balance competing interests
- Excellent verbal and written communicator - conveys clear understanding tailoring messages to audiences, deliver impactful presentation, facilitate conversations in face-to-face and online environments
- Effective multi-tasker - able to balance multiple and competing priorities whilst managing stakeholder expectations
- Resourceful problem solver - ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and address problems and issues quickly
