**The role**
The Talent & Development Advisor (Projects) position is integral to building Auto & General’s capabilities by partnering with leaders and key stakeholders within the business and the People & Culture division. With a focus on refining, implementing and scaling a Technical Capability Framework for frontline divisional roles. This role leads critical business projects and will have a long-term impact and embedment accountability.
**Position Accountabilities**- Project manage the review of the existing Technical Capability Framework (Role Connect) for Consultants and Frontline Leaders within all frontline divisions.- Conduct discovery and provide detailed recommendations for improvements and sustainable governance. Then drive action on agreed changes.- Project manage the wider implementation of Technical Capability Framework into new role areas, including working collaboratively with business leaders and SME’s for inputs.- Lead the ongoing embedment of Role Connect Technical Framework in operational systems and processes, in partnership with business SME teams.- Collaborate with People Business Partners, T&D Advisor colleagues and the Head of OD to support the change management process.- Own the ongoing quality control and governance processes to ensure consistency and scalability
**What experience you’ll bring**
**Qualifications And Experience**
**Essential**
- Understanding of frontline claims, sales and/or service business(s).- Proven experience leading a project, specifically learning, change and/or technical capability framework projects. Expertise in using digital project tools is required.- Strong internal consulting and partnering skills, with the ability to influence and build exceptional relationships with key internal stakeholders, up to senior management level.- Strong coaching skills, with a flair for engaging, motivating, and challenging individuals appropriately to achieve learning/behaviour change outcomes.- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, prioritising, and organisational skills with good attention to detail, to achieve quality outcomes in development projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and team skills and behaviours, incorporating strong verbal and written communication, flexibility, and resilience.
**Desirable**
- Experience in the Banking, Finance, or Insurance industries.
**Attributes for success in this role**
- Strong organisational skills, planning and project management aptitude.- Comfort in influencing stakeholders at all levels.- Enjoys collaborating within and outside the team, and with leaders, to build solutions that are fit-for-purpose and customised for each context, situation or problem.
- Enjoys variety and rapid design in developing enterprise frameworks and programs.
**Inherent requirements of the Role**
- The role may be based at either Toowong, North Lakes or Kawana sites, with the requirement to travel to either of these sites at any given time, as required.
- A current driver’s licence and own transport is required.

This role is available at any of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options while our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side’s best retail locations. If you love a view of the water, why not consider our Kawana office on the edge of Lake Kawana and only a five minute drive to the closest beach.
