**About our Client...**
This well established and highly regarded inner-eastern Law Firm now has an opportunity for a motivated and experienced Finance Assistant to join their firm.

**About the role...**
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will enjoy a full and varied role driving a solid financial position for the firm as part of this friendly and close knit team, all whilst maintaining a genuine work/life balance.

**Please note that the finance team is small and therefore requires a willingness and ability to learn the tasks of those in their team, with some tasks being interchangeable.**

As a valued member of the team, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

- trust accounts and controlled monies
- assist with annual trust audit
- process and payment of office payments
- office bank reconciliation
- prepare cash report
- coordinate outsourced payroll (including management of payroll queries and reconciling monthly payroll)
- monthly billing of tenants (including some client billing)
- maintain fixed asset register
- month end system reporting, balance and rollover
- general ledger reconciliation
- process improvement and project-related work as required
- provide support and cover for team members on leave

**Skills and experience...**
To be considered for this position, you will have:

- demonstrated experience as a Finance Assistant (within a legal environment highly regarded).
- efficient, accurate and professional work standards
- excellent team player and willing to put their hand up to help out
- ability to meet deadlines and work within time frames
