Pixelstorm is seeking an exceptional SEO Specialist to join our Melbourne-based digital agency, where we live and breathe Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and transparent digital marketing.

We work with ambitious brands that want real results, not marketing fluff. As our SEO lead, you’ll help shape and drive organic growth strategies across a diverse range of clients, working hand-in-hand with our in-house content creators, development team, and outreach partners.

**This is a Melbourne only position. Agency experience is highly desirable.**

Your Core Responsibilities
- **Lead End-to-End SEO Strategy**: Own on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives across a variety of B2B and B2C client campaigns.
- **Technical SEO Excellence**: Conduct in-depth audits, address crawlability and indexing issues, improve site speed, and implement structured data. Strong familiarity with GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, and site architecture is expected.
- **Content Collaboration**: Work closely with our internal content writer to optimise and inform content strategies based on search intent, topic authority, and semantic SEO.
- **Outreach Management**: Direct our Digital PR and outreach specialists to build high-quality links and authority in a sustainable, ethical manner.
- **Dev Partnership**: Collaborate with our developers on site migrations, performance optimisation, and technical implementations.
- **AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)**: Desirable but not essential - we’d love if you’re curious or experienced in optimising for voice and AI-powered search engines.
- **Reporting & Analytics**: Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and other KPIs using GA4, Looker Studio, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and more. Provide insights that drive business value, not just vanity metrics.
- Take ownership of client communications, including regular progress check-ins, strategic updates, and monthly performance reporting.
- Approach SEO with depth—go beyond surface-level recommendations to uncover and prioritise the changes that will make a meaningful impact on rankings and traffic.
- Perform high-quality audits and competitive analysis to define benchmarks, assess SEO feasibility, and tailor strategies for realistic, long-term success.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

- Have **3+ years SEO experience**, ideally within a digital agency.
- Bring a **strong technical SEO foundation** and understand how to drive strategic outcomes.
- Understand the full ecosystem of organic search - from site speed and indexing to E-E-A-T and algorithm impacts.
- Communicate clearly and confidently - with team members, stakeholders, and clients alike.
- Are proactive, detail-oriented, and unafraid to challenge assumptions or propose smarter solutions.
- Enjoy mentoring, contributing ideas, and staying ahead of industry shifts.
