We are currently looking for an Administrator to join us, supporting Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) based on our Pakenham project.
**About the Role**:
Whilst you’ll be initially based on the North Western Program Alliance, this is a long-term career opportunity within John Holland.
As an Administrator, your role will be to support both the site team, by providing administrative expertise and ensuring general site safety is adhered to.
**Responsibilities of the role include;**:
- Act as the single point of contact for all administrative elements of the HSE team.
- Interface with Alliance stakeholders to assist in reporting requirements
- Coordinate and maintain meeting agenda and minutes for regular site HSE meetings.
- Report on incident data (that has been inputted into the incident database - Soteria) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Run regular reports on the status of action items assigned from investigations and leading activities and work with site teams to ensure actions are closed out in Soteria
- Participate in site HSE walks and assist with coordinating and arranging leadership walks with relevant stakeholders (e.g. LXRP, MTW and JH).
- Coordinate and minute Health and Safety Committee meetings. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Health and Safety Representatives (HSR).
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and coordinate procurement of all HSE materials.
- Support RIW Administrator during peak construction periods to undertake compliance checks aligned with MTM Network Requirements
- Coordinate HSE Reporting to assist the team in meeting deadlines
- Actively participate to deliver innovations and improve to current administrative processes
- Coordinate team events and workshops
- Ensure accurate record keeping and maintenance of HSE Documents and Equipment
**To be successful in this key role, you will have;**:
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs is required.
- Experience in Construction, Rail or Infrastructure preferred but not essential
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Personable and able to influence stakeholders
- Ability to use and learn new systems
- Ability to travel to and work on-site to support our Pakenham project
