The reason for this role:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Materials and Services Process Quality Lead will perform activities that support the site's compliance, procurement, materials planning, service process quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Note this position may require domestic and international travel to undertake training and training related activities.
What you will be doing?
- Lead and perform site-level tasks including regulatory compliance, procurement, invoicing, and supplier onboarding.
- Drive improvements in these processes to enhance efficiency, standardize activities, and reduce administrative burden for technicians and site managers.
- Coordinate documentation, track defects, and assist with root cause analysis to uphold service standards and ensure smooth operational handovers.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization across site and service functions.
- Develop and implement SOPs to promote consistency, improve supplier engagement, and foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Perform data analysis and KPI tracking to identify trends, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What does your background look like?
- A diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Non-Engineering degrees can be considered with relevant experience.
- Qualifications in HSEQ or an IT- related field would be desirable.
- years of experience working in the construction or energy industry would be highly regarded.
- Experience in performing internal audits, writing standard operating procedures and coordinating and resolving root cause analysis would also be highly regarded.
