**The Role**
Employed on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract (with a view to convert to perm), the Payroll Specialist will play an integral role in driving the transformation of our payroll function. This role will see you acting as a key enabler in ensuring compliance with the award and regulatory requirements, implementing excellence in payroll processes and systems, and also contributing to delivering a positive employee journey with our business.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

- Conducting payroll compliance assessment including but limited to; reviewing applicable awards and aligning with current business pay grades, pay items and policies
- Take ownership of confirming the requirements for a new payroll system and supporting the selection and implementation process
- Contribute to the ongoing management of pay runs and payroll-related processes

**About you**
As the Payroll Specialist, you possess extensive experience within payroll processes and are not afraid to work with manual processes and multiple data sources. You are solutions oriented and like to use your commitment to quality and implications to connect systems and data to improve user experiences.
