**Job Description** What you’ll do**
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Automation Specialist to be a core member of the Marketing Automation team at carsales. If you are passionate about using data and technology to create meaningful customer experiences, then this is the role for you.
This role is a great opportunity for a marketing automation wiz to join a team of experts and craft digital experiences that resonate with customers and drive results.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities for growth and take ownership to source data, build audiences, triggers and messages across all channels.
- Work with SMEs across other media channels to build collaborative, cross-channel customer journeys.
- Collaborate with data teams to integrate and maintain data flows into marketing automation platforms, ensuring accurate and timely data synchronisation.
- Analyse marketing automation performance and journeys, report on results regularly. Share learnings with the wider business, and uncover meaningful insights from campaign data to guide optimisation and further opportunities.
- Understand and share expertise to participate in the innovation, development and implementation of new marketing automation features, system integration and ongoing development.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as brand, product marketing, and content to identify opportunities and drive continual optimisations.
- Continuously monitor industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative technologies in marketing automation and customer lifecycle management. Implement innovative approaches to enhance customer experience and drive business results.
**Qualifications** What**we are** looking for?**
- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
- Advanced experience in marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze etc)
- Advanced understanding of audience data and using SQL in development of audience segmentation and data processes. Experience with using SQL/SSJS and APIs to ingest data into marketing automation platforms is a plus.
- Experience in development utilising HTML, CSS and AMPScript
- Experience reporting on marketing automation performance (experience with Google Analytics a plus)
- Proven experience developing digital customer experiences that drive engagement and profitability.
- Commercial acumen and experience connecting marketing activities to revenue outcomes.
- Great attention to detail with developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven stakeholder management across both business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both sophisticated journeys as well as tactical campaigns
- Any experience with CDPs will be favourable.
