Schlam is looking for a Product Support Specialist to provide site support for our class leading Hercules and Barracuda mining attachments in the field and provide our customers with product inspections and commissioning. This position will be based in Welshpool/Forrestfield, however regular site visits will be required to assist customers with product support. This position will be the first point of contact for any site based enquires relating to aftermarket parts, inspections and any general queries regarding the payload products in the field.

**In this role, your responsibilities include**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with key site-based decision makers and effectively demonstrate Schlam’s value to the clients
- Proactively contact site-based stakeholders to arrange any required support
- Conduct routine site-based inspections of Payload products
- Provide technical support and recommendations specific to site requirements
- Serve as a link of communication between customers & internal teams

**About you**:

- An applicant with trades background looking to 'get off the tools' would be highly regarded
- High level of motivation with the ability to work autonomously within a productive team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to fly to the field when onsite customer support is required
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent client-facing communication skills at all levels

**Highly Desirable**:

- Welding knowledge
- Mining Equipment attachment knowledge
- Previous experience within the mining industry
