A reputable Federal Government Departments is looking to engage a highly skilled **Vulnerability Analyst **who has experience have experience investigating and working with software vulnerabilities. The successful **Vulnerability Analyst **will be offered an Initial contract for 12 months with 2 x 12 month extension options and the opportunity to work Canberra.

**The successful **Vulnerability Analyst **will be responsible for, but not limited to;**
- Maintaining visibility on new and important vulnerabilities that become known in open source.
- Investigating those vulnerabilities to determine the risk they pose.
- Determining the threat posed by particular vulnerabilities to the Australian economy.
- Informing determinations about alerting and targeted communications.

**The successful **Vulnerability Analyst **must have experience in the following;**
- Experience building software scripts to detect and verify software vulnerabilities.
- Experience in vulnerability management/vulnerability triage.
- Experience analysing and searching open source reporting for timely vulnerability information.
- General technical cyber security skills.
