Join this desirable Government agency as a cyber analyst **Your new company** This Federal Government Department’s primary goal is to enable access to the public about Australian history. Working alongside the Development Team and the Cybersecurity Improvement Project the Cyber Analyst will have a "developer technicality" and will be responsible for working on vulnerabilities to be addressed. They will have the ability to work at the code level which is essential within this team. **Your new role** Within this team you will be supported by the ITSA, Cyber PM and Cyber Engineer in the delivery of their duties; Duties include: - Working with Rapid7 InsightVM to interpret pre-built dashboards to identify vulnerabilities - and provide suitable recommendations to the NLA Development Team. - Organise these recommendations into individual Jira Tickets that are assigned to members - of the NLA Development Team. - Attend a daily stand up and weekly project meeting to report on project status and - remediation progress. - Updating outdated frameworks/libraries to the latest version. i.e.: spring framework, - vue.js - Updating outdated Java libraries to the latest LTS version **What you'll need to succeed** To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience in Java, Javascript, Spring Framework, Freemarker and Vue.js software development. As well as any experience in cyber remediation work. You will need to be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position. **What you'll get in return** This employer is offering a hybrid working arrangement of up to 2 days WFH.
