**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Modularisation Co-ordinator you will be responsible for planning, organising and supervising the Perth Workshop Modularisation operations to meet customer requirements and deadlines, while working closely with Modularisation Co-ordinator and Leading Hand to achieve department budgets and allotted KPI's.
As a key member of the team you will also be responsible for:
- Maintaining work schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of equipment and resources.
- Be responsible for the day to day activities of workshop personnel to ensure labour is used effectively.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to customers, machine performance, product, workmanship, and warranty.
- Carry out quality control inspections of all works onsite and offsite to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Co-ordinate works between several internal business sections to ensure works are completed in an order and time that will allow for continuous work flow and the meeting of completion deadlines.
- Ensure HCA employees and contractors working at off site locations comply with all HCA WHS responsibilities and the WHS responsibilities of the 3rd party vendor.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant diesel or mobile plant mechanic trade qualifications
- Similar supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and the ability to get the team to work cohesively
- Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS principles
- Experience in the maintenance of mining & construction equipment (Hitachi exposure would be a distinct advantage)
- Excellent time management with the ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities
- The ability to use initiative to contribute and support continuous improvement, and drive change
