I am partnering with an Engineering firm that specialises in the design and manufacturer of heavy transport equipment. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the fabrication projects.

As the Workshop Supervisor you will report directly to the Managing Director and be the last point of call. This role will involve a range of tasks and activities including strategic planning, team coordination, job planning, job costing, compliance documentation, daily work scheduling and procurement of area and job specific resources and requirements to successfully achieve the outputs as planned.

**The key duties will include by not be limited to**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
- Report the status of fabrication processes to the Managing Director as well as clients.
- Remain solutions focused with respect to the supply of parts and materials, customer requirements whilst maintaining compliance to ADR, quality and health and safety.
- Meeting the sometimes changing needs of the production schedule to satisfy stakeholder and customer requirements,
- Maintaining a safe, committed, happy. motivated and reliable work environment.

**A little bit about you**:

- 3+ years managing/supervising in a workshop - ideally steel fabrication.
- Excellent personal communication, interaction and motivation skills
- Experience with Fabrication Quality Control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small - medium sized teams to achieve planned outputs
