Core Talent are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join a leading company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a hands-on role, leading a team to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small, skilled team of technicians
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
- Manage workshop scheduling, resources, and stock control
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Maintain strong communication with external contractors and clients to ensure timely project delivery
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Supervisor/Leading Hand role, within mobile plant equipment (excavators, loaders, trucks)
- Cert 3 as a fitter or similar technical trade qualification would be highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
