AEC Woolloongabba is a purpose-built, 24 hour, Emergency Animal Hospital with over 85 clinical and support staff, all focused on providing the best patient and client care in a supportive, team environment.

We are looking for a friendly and organized** Customer Care Representative** to join a fast-paced and exciting environment and be a welcoming face to our clients and their pets

**As a part of the Customer Care team, your duties will include**:

- Part Time role, 30 - 35 hours per week across a variety of day shifts, evenings and weekends
- Handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital
- Booking and managing appointments
- Invoicing and taking payments - including cash and EFTPOS
- Processing payments on Vetpay, Zippay and Afterpay finance platforms
- Data entry and requesting documents from referring vets and clients
- Liaising with referring vets

**About your experience and skill**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a reception/customer service role
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, during busy times, emergency situations or while dealing with difficult clients
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Experience with appointment entries, invoicing, and taking payments
- Ability to manage your time effectively
- Amazing attention to detail
- Friendly, warm and professional phone manner with the ability to converse with a range of different people with compassion and empathy
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts and availability during busy peak seasons (Christmas, Easter, school holidays)
