About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our team at Stones Corner Dental (previously known as Nicholas Baker's Dental Surgery) in Stones Corner, Brisbane. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and checking in patients, managing appointment schedules, and handling patient inquiries
  • Assisting the dental team with chair side procedures, sterilisation, and infection control protocols
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and processing payments and insurance claims
  • Ordering and managing dental supplies and materials
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering phone calls and filing

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar dental practice setting
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software and other relevant computer programs
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality
