**The Company**
This well-established company continues to grow, focusing on enhancing commercial landscapes, including creative design and construction, irrigation solutions and artificial surfaces.
They want to appoint a friendly and supportive Human Resources Generalist to join their busy team.
**The Role**
This hands-on role will see you providing day-to-day HR advice and support to promote and align people and processes to achieve the desired performance and culture objectives.
Your scope will include talent attraction, hiring, training and development, employee engagement and performance, compensation and benefits, payroll backup, disciplinary procedures and support, and general administration.
**What are we looking for**
- HR advisory and generalist experience, backed by relevant qualifications and knowledge of current employment laws and regulations
- Experience working in a small to medium-sized commercial / industrial business with qualified tradespeople
- Strong communication, empathy, emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the business
- Good project management skills to streamline work, prioritise tasks and achieve goals
- Pro-active, demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent attention to detail - no detail is too small
- Experience coordinating and administering HSE operational activities
- Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, maturity, judgement, professional insight and diplomacy
