**Description**

As our new Manager Learning and Development, you will lead and manage L&D activities relating to developing the operational capability of employees across RACQ. This includes working with Departments Heads to create and sustain contemporary strategies and learning initiatives.

Managing a team of Learning and Development professionals, you will oversee relevant learning programs to enable appropriate time to proficiency for our new employees, while building internal stakeholder relationships to advise and assist with capability uplift across the group.
Key responsibilities include:

- Analysis and prioritise organisational learning needs that contribute to the organisational strategy execution
- Identify, recommend and design consistent and contemporary methodologies to ensure that learning programs contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives
- Establish and execute appropriate Learning and Development plans and tactics to proactively build capability
- Monitor, assess, and report on training quality and effectiveness, and review and recommend modifications to training objectives
- Cost effective allocation of people, fixed assets and technology resources to support learning design and delivery function.

Key skills & experience;
- Strong demonstrated leadership experience within a complex organisation
- Competent in all facets of learning and development including facilitation, design, operations and systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal capability with a key strength in communicating, coaching, guiding and influencing others
- Strong depth of experience in adult learning principles, design and facilitation with from a variety of industries
- Experience using digital/virtual platforms for the delivery of learning.
