**Description**

**About the role**

We have an exciting 12-month opportunity for a Learning & Development Consultant to join our Insurance Assurance and Capability team.

The Learning and Development Consultant designs, develops, delivers, and assesses learning activities and knowledge across the RACQ Group, using consistent and contemporary methodologies, ensuring that learning solutions contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drawing on adult learning principles, research, design and develop contemporary, best practice learning material that meets organisational, departmental, stakeholder, legislative and participant needs in consultation with the Team Leader Learning Excellence and Learning Solutions team.
- Deliver high quality L&D activities to ensure the best member experience and service delivery by all staff.
- Managing stakeholders, via the identification of stakeholder learning needs through consultation and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed on a timely basis.
- Prepare and deliver courses within adequate timeframes using best practice, contemporary learning, and assessment methodologies.
- Develop competency-based workplace assessments and feedback mechanisms for managers, participants, and other Learning & Development Consultants
- Identify and fulfil compliance obligations, and report breaches as encountered.

**About You**
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in the design, development, piloting and delivery of learning and development activity in response to identified learning needs and specifications, appropriately utilising the range of best practice learning and development techniques.
- Demonstrated design and/or delivery of ‘soft skills’ using contemporary adult learning principles and design methodologies.
- Sound skills in Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate learning and development activity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
