**About the Role**
We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Commercial Exhibition team. This role focuses on sales and customer service for exhibitors in the lead up to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
As part of this role, you will also be responsible for the account management of Commercial Exhibitors and will be expected to take a proactive sales approach to source new leads. To be successful in this position, you will enjoy working in a team environment whilst having the ability to work autonomously, show initiative, be organised and passionate.
**About you**
Along with previous experience in a similar role, the successful person will be able to meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in sales and event management preferred
- Strong administration experience including demonstrated experience in presentations
- Proven experience developing and maintaining business relationships
- Ability to manage and address clients concerns in an appropriate and timely manner
- Have superior customer service skills
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Have an outstanding work ethic and impeccable grooming
- Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask, work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
- Be willing to undertake a police clearance check if required

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
