**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Finance Department.
The St Vincent's Health Network Finance Department is responsible for ensuring private, compensable, Medicare Ineligible and public patient fee management closely supports Hospital budget priorities while adhering to relevant policies and procedures. As an integral part of the Finance Department, SydPath billing unit is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the billing process. It also provides assistance to other departments within SydPath such as receipting, credit control and data entry. The Billing Officer will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate billing of patient episodes
