About the role Evolution Automotive Services offer

We have a full time position available for an Automotive Workshop Manger to manage the day-to-day operations and organization of the workshop flow and efficiency. This is a Hands-on role at our Eight Mile Plains Office. The hours are 7:30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You will be managing the workshop alone and taking over management job. We are looking to hand over the management of the workshop fully.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support. You will coordinate and allocate work to our technicians and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. You will also keep our customers updated with the progress of works. You should have good communication skills and the ability to lead by example, build a solid team environment and a happy, safe workspace for all staff.

**A Current Manual Driver’s License will be required** - (You will need to drive customers cars - we have some business corporate customers with fleet cars that require to be picked up and delivered)

You will need **previous experience** in a similar administrative role with responsibility for scheduling will be highly regarded along with a solid base level understanding of accounts and an ability to manage data from a range of sources. The role also requires an understanding of automotive repairs and vehicles. You will oversee jobs in the workshop and help with simple tasks if needed, so you will need a base knowledge of vehicles and how they operate.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Coordinate and schedule jobs in consultation with the Service Supervisor & Clients.
- Consult and address problems that clients may raise regarding scheduled works.
- Ordering of stock and materials for jobs
- Preparing invoices
- Organize internal quotes / works.
- Organize freight and accept deliveries.
- General Administration Duties
- Liaise with Technicians on their day to day needs.
- Any other Scheduling / Admin requirements.
- Be able to help the technicians with simple work in the workshop when it is busy
- Manage accounts, cash flow and bills

About you
- Relevant experience working in customer service & administrative setting and excellent customer focus
- Background from a high-pressure fast-pace environment
- Ability to deal with a wide range of stake holders
- A flexible and adaptive working approach
- Mechanical experience or knowledge possibly with qualifications.
