**The opportunity**
We are dedicated to helping our members achieve their dreams or recover from the worse disaster’s life can create. When it comes to providing our members with the best possible solutions, you can’t go past the hard work and dedication of our insurance and claims team. No day is ever the same.
We have a** 12 Month Contract** position available for an Insurance Specialist with a strong focus on retention to join our dynamic team.
Working in collaboration with our Product leads you’ll ensure our members have appropriate insurance cover and membership is accurate and up to date. You will provide sound investigation, ownership and decision-making skills across a variety of areas including:
- Preparing insurance and claims business rules and regular insurance reporting
- Review insurance related communications
- Preparation of Significant Event Notice (SEN) content
- Reporting on insurance claims and related incidents
- Oversight of Corporate insurance annual reviews
- Provide support on team projects and product initiatives
**What you’ll bring**
Ultimately, you are a self-starter and pride yourself on your ability to establish and maintain positive relationships. You value an environment that encourages the contribution of new ideas, using your initiative and taking ownership. Someone with prior experience in data analytics could be advantageous but not essential. Furthermore, you’ll have:
- A good understanding of superannuation and insurance industry regulations
- Prior experience working in an insurance administration and/ or claims assessment role
- High attention to detail and be highly organised
- Strong customer service skills
- Good writing skills with the ability to craft complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Able to analyse data and make recommendations based on your insights
- Proactive, able to work both autonomously and efficiently
