About the Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and adaptable Training Specialist to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract with potential opportunity to move to permanent. This role offers a hybrid working model from our St Kilda Road office in Melbourne.

You'll play a key role in both facilitating training and creating high-quality learning content. You will support our Claims & Service department by designing and delivering engaging content that drive performance and compliance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with general insurance experience that can step in and hit the ground running.

We're open to considering applicants with a working holiday visa (would not be able to consider these applicants for permanent opportunity).

What You'll Be Responsible For

· Develop clear, engaging and accurate training materials, including responsibility for our in-house knowledge management system.

· Deliver onboarding and refresher training sessions with our contract centre and claims staff.

· Previous training delivery experience is preferred but not required for this role.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex insurance concepts into accessible content

· Support change initiatives by creating training resources.

· Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.

What you'll bring:

· Experience in general insurance (partially motor insurance, and claims)

· A minimum of 1-2 years of general insurance experience is required.

· Strong writing skills with a proven ability to deliver and write clear training materials.

· Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

· Highly adaptable and able to work independently.

· Microsoft suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) – Intermediate.
