**Join our team as an Insurance Operations Specialist**

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Specialist to enhance our operational efficiency and improve member insurance outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will focus on transitioning our operations to a digital-first future state model.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Monitor and optimise insurance operations processes to drive efficiency
- Provide expert guidance to colleagues and our administrator on insurance product administration.
- Oversee the resolution of insurance incidents
- Support management in day-to-day insurance activities and business rule adherence
- Collaborate with partners to implement changes to business rules.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to uplift processes and services.

**About You**:

- 5+ years’ experience in life insurance (Group or Retail) at insurer, administrator or superannuation Trustee with demonstrated success in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of group insurance, including death cover, income protection, and TPD.
- Experience with incidents, transitions, or SFT, and corporate-sponsored super plans.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and interacting with senior leaders.
- Willingness to challenge and question the status quo.
- Understanding of the latest insurance standards, legislation, and regulations.
- Change management experience.
- Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration experience.
- Proven track record in operationalising insurance product and legislative changes.
- Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
