**What can you expect?**
In this senior leadership position, you will be accountable for the performance of the Australian Corporate, Commercial and Consumer business and be a senior member of the Pacific Corporate, Commercial and Affinity (CCA) Executive team.
CCA represents ~32% of Marsh Pacific’s revenue and is the fastest growing division of the business. The Corporate, Commercial and Consumer business in Australia comprises a team of approximately 280 colleagues within the Corporate, Commercial and Consumer business units across the country, including 8 direct reports responsible for different geographic regions. This is a high-profile role in Marsh Pacific that spans a diverse client base comprising SME/Commercial business, through to many of the largest corporate clients. The key focus of the role will be instilling a culture and platform of best practice behaviors across all areas of the team and take ultimate responsibility for the entire Corporate, Commercial and Consumer practices. Through strong financial management and commercial leadership, this role will contribute toward the CCA and overall Pacific business financial objectives. This role will also contribute to the achievement of the overall CCA business plans and objectives with a focus on innovation and execution of financially strategic initiatives. Success in this role will come through the delivery of client and revenue growth, profitability objectives, operational performance, and people management especially through the development of talent to create future leadership succession for the organization.

**We will count on you to**:
- Set and drive the vision and strategy for the Corporate, Commercial and Consumer business for Australia
- Strengthen the business and increase organic profitable revenue growth
- Drive accountability and achievement of the Corporate, Commercial and Consumer business unit revenue and NOI budget.
- Drive thought leadership, innovation & brand awareness with clients
- Acts as a strategic partner to and contributor on the CCA Pacific Executive. Actively participate in the CCA Executive team and provide solution-based input to the benefit of the broader group and business
- Ensure that strategic objectives shaped at the CCA Pacific Executive are translated into tactical business plans
- Look for methods to improve quality and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits and improve control measures based on thorough review analysis of the business
- Ensure business change projects are delivered within prescribed timeframes and that corporate systems remain up to date and accurate
- Review business unit performance against balanced scorecard components as prescribed, discuss gaps and agree action points to close gaps
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible or cannot be improved
- Continually challenge the status-quo to ensure that Marsh remains the industry leader in the areas in which they serve
- Challenge and develop the team to create future succession options for the business
**What you need to have**:
- Minimum 15 years’ operational and financial experience in the insurance industry including broking
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage a significantly sized team to drive revenue and profitable growth.
- Genuine interest and record in the development of talent and a team environment to drive growth, profitability and the establishment of a success culture.
- Dedication to quality in all aspects of your work performance and client services, with a passion for excellence

- A team player who naturally maintains solid working relationships with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders
