**The Department**

The Head of Corporate Strategy is responsible for undertaking their work in a way that reflects SBS’s Charter, Vision and Values and complies with relevant SBS policies, procedures and practices. **The Role**

Reporting into the Director within our Corporate Strategy team this role will see you working closely with key stakeholders and managing a small team. This role will include and not be limited to:

- Provide advice on key strategic initiatives
- Lead projects to solve strategic questions; define the issues to be solved and the analysis to be undertaken; and create and use strategic frameworks to solve the
- Lead internal activities related to corporate planning including the coordination and documentation of the organisation’s annual strategic planning
- Clearly communicating the organisation’s priorities, interim and final
- Overseeing and undertake audience, industry and competitor trend research and analysis that provides relevant insights to senior leaders on changes to the media

**About you**
- You will have developed, implemented, and executed on Corporate Strategy within a large, complex organisation
- Enjoy managing and working alongside key stakeholders and helping the business
- You will get a thrill of problem solving and working with a diverse group of people to facilitate the answers
- Being generous with your knowledge and happy to teach others will see you building great relationships
- Truly passionate about serving all Australian audiences and the role that SBS must play in Australian society
- Some consultancy experience would be favourable, and/or having worked with consultants throughout your career is beneficial
- You will have had exposure to a cross section of industries either broadcast, streaming, public service, charity, NFP or commercial industry where the consumer is at the heart of everything you do
- Audience obsessed, you will be enthusiastic about how we serve our audiences who come from diverse backgrounds including and not exclusively First Nations and Multicultural communities
- Highly expert analytical skills, strategic thinker, with a learning mindset
