**About the role**
We are seeking an experienced Planning Supervisor to join our Component Rebuild Centre located at our Tomago Branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager - Component Rebuild Centre, the Planning Supervisor is to use proactive methods of data collection, analysis and tracking to oversee all planning activities in line with resources and agreed timelines. Included into this function is the communication of the forecast to internal and external stakeholders.
This position is offered as a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of the Master production planning process for Newcastle Component Rebuild Centre.
- Management and supervision of CRC Engines and Powertrain Planners including target setting, employee development and mentoring to meet required business outcomes.
- Work with suppliers, parts inventory team and parts counter to ensure material is available ‘Just in Time’ for scheduled jobs.
- Review the weekly slot plans with all stakeholders to ensure we have agreed targets, adequate manpower available and all current jobs captured on schedule.
- Ensure company safety procedures, safe working practices and Life Saving Rules are strictly followed, with the aim of reducing lost time incidents to zero.
**Skills & Experience**
- Practical experience in mobile equipment maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with managing a small team.
- Excellent communication skills - Interpersonal, written and verbal.
- Demonstrated knowledge in working and understanding Equipment Maintenance and planning concepts.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly.
- Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes.
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office and DBS)
