**About the Client**
Our client is a leading residential construction group in Australia. They manage the entire process of land acquisition, administration, and construction to deliver a seamless solution, allowing their Sales Teams to solely focus on advising and selling to their clients. Our client is a fast-growing business, and they are looking for a Site Supervisor with the right attitude and ambition to grow professionally and support the business expansion. Roles are available in Sydney and Central Coast/Hunter Region.
**The Role**
As a Site Supervisor in Residential Construction, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating our projects from inception to completion. You will be overseeing daily site operations, ensuring our construction crews and subcontractors adhere to project plans and quality standards. Your responsibilities will also include conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with clients, architects, and engineers, and resolving any on-site issues promptly. This role is ideally suited for a seasoned professional with a strong background in residential construction, possessing excellent leadership, project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Managing daily operations on the construction site.
- Overseeing the work of construction crews and subcontractors to ensure it aligns with project plans and quality
standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections to guarantee safety regulations and standards are consistently met.
- Liaising with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project progression.
- Resolving any potential issues or delays in the construction process.
- Reporting on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
**Key Requirements**:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the residential construction sector.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Proven track record in effectively managing construction crews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good physical condition and endurance as the role might require on-site presence for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
- Relevant certification or diploma in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
