**The role**

Provide quality, relevant, and insightful analysis on the Expense and FTE financial performance, for our Technology & Operations function.

**What you’ll do**
- Carry out month end, half year end and year end cost reporting deliverables (including ledger close activities)
- Technology & Operations FTE Reporting, including assistance in Forecasting and Budgets
- Provide quality, relevant, and insightful analysis on the Expense and FTE financial performance for Suncorp Group
- Ensure appropriate controls and disciplines are met, maintained, and enhanced with regards to the integrity of the GL, internal processes, and reports/models
- Support the Senior Analysts T&O Finance and Manager T&O Finance on any relevant project activity
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of business drivers and trends that supports management reporting

**What you’ll bring**
- 3+ years’ experience within a medium or large financial services organisation (mandatory)
- Qualifications in Accounting, Business or finance
- Experience in analysis and executive reporting
- IBM Cognos (TM1/PAW/GEM), PowerBI, Oracle GL (OAC) systems knowledge and experience
- Strong analytical capability (incl. data analysis) with referred background in business analysis, management reporting and/or decision support
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and utilises Microsoft Teams, OneNote, SharePoint and OneDrive
