As a **Finance Analyst **you will collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partner Lead and Finance Business Partners to review, analyse, reconcile, and post financial transactions. Your expertise will be instrumental in performing comprehensive financial analyses across all divisions, offering valuable insights to stakeholders and pinpointing areas for improvement.

A significant aspect of this role involves management accounting, where you will take charge of preparing detailed management reports that monitor financial performance and support strategic decision-making. You will contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that financial plans are both accurate and aligned with Powerlink's strategic objectives. Your work will involve variance analysis, cost control, and profitability analysis, providing clear and actionable insights to drive financial efficiency.

In addition to this, you will assist in the input and analysis of forecast data, contributing to both short
- and long-term financial planning. Your support will extend to handling requests for costing and financial analysis, ensuring you provide thorough and accurate information to facilitate informed business decisions.

Your proactive approach will drive the presentation of various financial analyses, and you will play a key role in identifying and presenting opportunities for reporting, process, and system enhancements. Collaboration with other teams will be essential as you work to implement improvements that enhance the end-user experience.

Based in Virginia, reporting to the Team Lead Finance and Business Partners you will provide essential transactional and analytical support to our Finance Business Partners, empowering our Senior leaders to achieve outstanding financial and commercial outcomes.

**Your expertise**:

- Degree qualification in finance, accounting, commerce or other relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in handling management accounting responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in using management accounting systems and techniques for reporting and financial analysis.
- Skilled in designing and managing budget processes that involve input from various team members within a large organisation.
- Adept at creating customised financial reports that are clear and easy to understand, providing valuable insights to support both operational and strategic decisions.
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
