This is an opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Federal Government department on a one-year temporary placement with the possibility of extension.
**Your role**:
- Development and standardisation of financial models
- Development of financial plans/budgets/ forecasts including annual capital expenditure
- Assist program and project manager in financial analysis and development of financial options for projects
- Maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate safety awareness and behaviours consistent with enterprise strategies.
- Working within a dynamic high pressure environment

**What you'll need to succeed**
- At least 4-5 years experience in Financial Analysis or a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Experience in accounting practices, specifically with budgeting, forecasting and reporting on large programs
- Proven management abilities
- There is a requirement to be an Australian Permanent Resident
