**Your new company**
This client who has a centre of excellence supporting all employees across the business is seeking to appoint a Strategic People and Performance Partner to continue to drive best practice throughout the organisation.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the Deputy Director of Organisational Capability, the Strategic People Partner is a critical conduit between business units and the People, Talent and Culture Centres of excellence who define and develop people policies, procedures and strategies.
As a natural leader within the business you will work proactively to identify and analyse business needs and develop solutions to deliver on the business units plans and objectives.
You will leave talent initiatives such as workforce planning within the business unit, champion transformational change in partnership with the organisational capability team, manage complex people risks and offer insight and analysis to the Executive Leadership Team.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Ideally, you will have leadership experience and success leading a diverse team and be able to demonstrate problem solving experience with the ability to manage competing demands and meet challenging deadlines. Substantial experience in development and implementation of contemporary and innovative Human Resource strategies and initiatives within a diverse organisation is a necessity and you must have experience in interpreting and advising on complex employee relations matters, particularly performance management.
Up to date understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to human resources management issues is key and well-developed interpersonal, consulting, coaching and negotiating skills including the ability to liaise and provide advice to management and staff on a wide range of human resource issues. You will ideally hold relevant experience and/or relevant qualification to the role.
