We are recruiting a vibrant **Student Support Officer** for international students to work in VET Sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and advice to international students on academic, social, and personal issues
- Facilitate orientation programs for international students to help them understand the academic and social environment of the organization and the surrounding community
- Coordinate support services for international students, including accommodation, healthcare, financial assistance, and language support
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with international students, faculty, staff, and relevant external organizations
- Work with academic staff to ensure that international students receive appropriate academic support and guidance
- Monitor international student progress and maintain accurate records of student interactions and interventions
- Respond to and resolve international student complaints and grievances
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements for international students

Qualifications:

- Certificate/degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with international students in a support capacity
- Knowledge of relevant immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Familiarity with the education and training sector, including the VET (Vocational Education and Training) system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and student record management systems.
