**Receptionist & Student Support Officer Position in Melbourne.**:

- Receptionist & Student Support Officer **Needed.**

**Key Requirements**:

- Liaise with Student Support/ Administration/ Admissions Teams and/ or Academic Team as required.
- Assist students with administrative enquiries.
- Assist with filing and general maintenance of student records.
- Update the student files with latest attendance and course progress details.
- Distribute correspondence to staff and students.
- Perform additional administrative support duties as required.
- Respond effectively to difficult or challenging behaviour.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to AFC systematic approach to continuous improvement.
- Liaise with AFC training staff to coordinate contact with students in order to manage their administration.
- Monitor workplace safety at all times. Always put workplace safety before any other priority or activity.
- Perform duties in an ethical and professional manner that supports an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
- Stay up-to-date regarding the college and students’ obligations under ESOS Framework and other legislative requirements.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures at all times.

**Mandatory Skills and Qualifications Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English;
- Excellent computer skills including competence on MS Office suite and good typing speed;
- Excellent administrative skills including time management and prioritisation skills.
- Legal Australian full-time work rights.

**Desirable Skills and Qualities**:

- At least one (1) year experience in similar role is preferred.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills;
- Must have 'can do' attitude and unwavering commitment towards work
