**About us**

Allspec Engineering is a world class ISO9001 Steel Fabricator working with clients across the resources sector to execute integrated engineering solutions from our new purpose built facility in Hope Valley.

Joining the Allspec team you will be part of an experienced and energetic group of people who work together to deliver quality projects for our clients.

As we pivot into the next phase of business growth we are looking for an Operations Manager to join our successful organisation to manage and drive operational functions.

**About the role**

Reporting into the General Manager, this newly created position is a strategic leadership role within the business. The primary focus of the role is to manage and drive operational functions to achieve company goals and objectives at our busy fabrication workshop in Henderson.

Primary responsibilities include;
- Contribute to the planning, development and growth of business strategies
- Provide leadership, direction & support across the organisation to achieve business objectives
- Manage the success of all projects as they travel through business from RFQ to Delivery.
- Lead the Estimating, Project Management, Quality, HSE and Workshop to deliver desired outcomes
- Develop & maximise business opportunities through the effective management of key stakeholder relationships
- Manage production budgets to ensure profitability and competitive advantage
- Workforce management across the workshop

**About you**
- Ambition to achieve results and drive productivity
- Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Procurement experience within the local market
- Solutions focused, able to work through a problem to get results
- High level of commercial acumen
- A Boilermaker trade qualification
- AS1796 or AS2214 would be highly advantageous
